

Frank Luca is the founder of Waxing Crescent. Frank is a marketing, communications and management executive with several years of experience in virtually all communications and marketing disciplines. Frank was Chief Operating Officer of Medestea USA, (formerly known as Santica USA) an importer of High-end Italian Cosmetics and Health & Beauty Supplements. Before joining Medestea USA, Frank held a Senior Management position at Cossette Post, a division of Cossette Communications, the largest Advertising and Marketing Communications Network in Canada.
Frank is also an Award- Winning Creative Director and has worked for some of the world’s most recognized Ad Agencies as well as having co-founded two successful Integrated Marketing Communications Agencies. An accomplished Art Director, Frank later made the transition to copywriter and eventually went on to become a successful Creative Director.
Prior to joining Cossette Post, Frank was President/Creative Director of Transfusion LLC, a
Full-Service Advertising Agency he co-founded in 1997. That agency’s clients included; Visa Gift Cards, The Financial Commerce Network (TFCN), eocnet.com, Fabian Couture Group International, Matterhorn Boots/Cove Shoe Company (a division of H.H. Brown), Affiliated Animal Health, Atlantico Shoe Company (Sandro Moscoloni), weddings2go.com, Hadassah, The Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum and Portmeirion USA.
Frank has created and implemented Advertising and Marketing Communications Programs

Before branching out on his own, Frank held senior creative and management positions for several advertising and direct marketing agencies including; Della Femina, Travisano & Partners (later Della Femina, McNamee, WCRS), BBDO, BBDO Direct (Omnicom) and Chapman, Stone & Adler (a Direct Marketing division of Young & Rubicam). Frank attended the School of Visual Arts where he majored in Art, Advertising and Marketing Communications.
